Neon Drift Rally: the drift lines pros actually use

Neon Drift Rally feels great from the first race, but there's a big gap between having fun and posting fast times. Most of that gap is about corner entry — specifically, lifting off before you turn instead of during.

The technique that unlocked faster laps for me was initiating the drift a hair early and letting the car settle mid-corner. Fighting the slide the whole way just scrubs speed. Trust the handling; it wants to hold the line.

Track memory helps enormously. I ran the same three tracks over and over until my thumbs knew the corners, and that's when the real improvements came. Guessing is slow, muscle memory is fast.

Switch to button steering if you haven't. Tilt is fun but imprecise for the tight stuff, and precision is where the seconds live.
