Emberfall Saga is the rare mobile RPG that respects your time while still handing you a proper adventure. Battles are turn-based and quick, but positioning and elemental matchups matter enough that you can't autopilot the tough ones. I lost a boss fight twice before I bothered to swap my back line, and that's exactly the kind of learning the game rewards.
The writing carries it. Your companions bicker, change their minds, and remember choices you made hours earlier. By the midpoint I was picking fights I didn't need just to hear the party talk during travel.
Progression is clean. You get skill points, you get gear, and the menus never bury you. It runs smoothly on older phones too, which matters more than most reviews admit.
